Community Champions

Because the Council promotes the need for approaches that are tailored to the context and needs of each community, we think that creative and motivated leadership at the community level is a key success factor. To support participation, the Council has established the Community Champion program. Any individual, group, or community network can join. The only requirements are:
  • A commitment to the Council's vision of community-based early child development and parenting centres linked to schools.
  • Agreement to work within your organizations and communities to foster that vision.
  • A willingness to share ECD-related experiences and accomplishments with the Council.
