Released in 1999, the original Early Years Study, sparked a surge of interest in early brain development. In the past eight years, the field has grown more rapidly than could have been imagined. The Early Years Study 2, uses new empirical findings to broaden and deepen the conclusions put forward in the original EYS, and new technologies to more closely examine the processes involved in healthy brain development.
